Monitoring the water supply is very essential in places like industries or schools/universities. To monitor the amount of water being supplied and used, the rate of flow of water has to be measured. Water flow sensors are used for this purpose. Water flow sensors are installed at the water source or pipes to measure the rate of flow of water and calculate the amount of water flowing through the pipe. Rate of flow of water is measured as litres per hour or cubic metres.
A water flow sensor has a connector with pins, and a tube through which the water may flow, of whose pressure and flow rate we’ll calculate.
How to use
Here is a step-by-step tutorial of how to use a water flow sensor to detect the flow rate (https://youtu.be/y841yf-WjqE)

Safety Measures to follow
1. Do not use a voltage that exceeds the power supply voltage range.
2. Mount the Sensor appropriately.
