Temperature Sensor

Temperature Sensor

A temperature sensor is a very useful sensor and has many uses in the real world. It works on a basic principle. The output voltage of the pin is proportional to the temperature that the sensor detects. It is used to measure the temperature of the surrounding area using this property of proportionality.

Common Applications

1. To measure the temperature of the surroundings.

Some example projects that students can try out in the ATL Lab

1. Test the room temperature using the temperature sensor.
2. Study the variation of temperature using a temperature sensor on supplying heat.

Safety Measures to follow

1. Do not test the sensor in an environment beyond its limits.
