Jumper cables are used very often in making connections. They’re very simple to use as compared to normal wires, because you don’t need to strip the wire, make connection and then twist it to make it intact. Just plugging in to the breadboard does the job in case of jumper wires. There are majorly two ends in a jumper wire:- male and female. These jumper cables can be of three types:- male-male, male-female, female-female. The usage totally depends on the purpose they’re being used for.

How to use

A jumper wire is used when a connection is being made. The male connector of jumper wire can fit into the breadboard easily by just plugging it in

1. Used to make connections between different components in a breadboard

Safety Measures to follow

1. Don’t poke the sharp ends of jumper cables.
2. Jumper cables do not provide a very high heat resistance, so don’t use it in circuits producing a lot of heat.
