Many of us might have seen those robotic cars that are able to follow a colored line on the track, which means they can take turns accordingly and stay on the defined line. That behaviour of those cars is achieved through IR sensors array module for line following.
A line follower IR sensor array module consists of 8 different proximity sensors arranged in a row, and 4 pins, as named below:-
1. VCC – power
2. GND – ground
3. A0 – Analog output
4. D0 – Digital output

Safety Measures to follow
1. Do not use a Sensor in an environment where there are explosive or inflammable gases.
2. Do not use the Sensor in environments where the cables may become immersed in oil or other liquids or where liquids may penetrate the Sensor.
