Air blowers are devices used to blow air. The main purpose is to replace the contaminated air with clean air. Almost every industry uses air blowers for different purposes such as drying, reducing heat levels, reducing smoke and odours, processing and controlling gaseous fumes. The primary purpose of an air blower is to ensure the provision of a steady air flow when needed.
Some blowers can also work as vacuum cleaners by putting the blower nozzle in the fitting from where the air is sucked.
How to use
Plug in the air blower into the socket and power it on. There’s a speed regulator attached to blowers which controls the amount of air that should come out from the blower. Then, there’s a push button which is used to blow the air. It should be pressed and held to blow air out of the machine. There’s also a small lock which when pressed would keep the blower button ON and would supply air continuously. Once done with the blowing, turn the button off, and turn off the power supply as well.
Common applications
1. Cleaning hard to reach places at home.
2. Cleaning dust from surfaces.
Safety Measures to follow
1. Never point the blower over anyone or near the face.
2. Wear proper safety equipment such as goggles and safety mask before using it in dusty areas.
3. Make sure that the cable of the blower is not damaged.
